On March 5, 2024, Turkmenistan Airlines operated its first flight on the new route Ashgabat - Ho Chi Minh City - Ashgabat. For the first time, a Boeing 777-200LR airliner departed from Ashgabat International Airport on a flight from Ashgabat to Ho Chi Minh City.

Passengers can purchase tickets on the official website of Turkmenistan Airlines, at the airline's offices, as well as at air transportation agencies.

The opening of direct flights between Ashgabat and Ho Chi Minh City will expand opportunities for the development of trade, economic and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Vietnam.
