INSTRUCTION FOR PURCHASING OF ONLINE AIR TICKET
The Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company offers passengers automated purchasing of online air ticket and payment services through the turkmenistanairlines.tm website and the turkmenistanairlines mobile app, based on the Airline’s current rules, fares, and terms.
Before purchasing an air ticket online, please read the information posted on the website and, if necessary, the notes set out in the section “Terms and Conditions between the Passenger and the Airline’s Website”.
“Terms and Conditions between the Passenger and the Airline’s Website” mean that by purchasing an air ticket online, you agree to the rules, regulations, and instructions of the Airline providing the air ticket.
Furthermore, when purchasing an air ticket online, you must enter all information in full. If the air ticket is purchased by a third party, the Airline is not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the passenger and a third party, or for any illegal actions or violations identified by other authorities.
If malicious software is detected in the Airline’s online ticket purchasing system, on the turkmenistanairlines.tm website, or in the mobile app, or if any illegal activity is committed, access to your personal account and IP address for online ticket purchasing will be restricted, and the Airline will take appropriate measures to prevent such violations, illegal activities, and malicious activity.
PURCHASING OF ONLINE AIR TICKET CONSISTS OF SEVERAL STEPS, NAMELY:
FIRST STEP.
1. Passenger purchasing air ticket must register for their personal account using their phone number.
1.1 To register for their personal account, passengers must enter their phone number, email address, and personal password. (Please note that unlawful violations of the rules are not permitted when registering for a personal account. Full information and details of the Airline’s measures are available on the website.)
1.2 To register in your personal account, identification numbers will be sent to the passenger’s phone number via SMS message +0757 (or if the Airline changes the phone number) to verify the passenger, and registration will be completed after the confirmation numbers sent by the passenger are correctly entered.
1.3 Re-registration using the same phone number or email address is not possible.
1.4 Once logged into the personal account, the password entered by the passenger must not be shared with anyone else, and the Airline bears no liability if it is disclosed.
1.5 you experience any issues logging into your personal account, please immediately email the reasons and a photo to itgroup@turkmenistanairlines.tm. (If possible, please send a video recording.)
1.6 To ensure the Airline provides you with an online ticket, passengers must correctly and completely fill out the information on the www.turkmenistanairlines.tm website and in the turkmenistanairlines mobile app within 15 minutes (the time limit) and purchase an air ticket within the time allowed by the banking service. (This is necessary to prevent the air ticket from being automatically frozen in the system.)
1.7 In case of non-payment for other reasons, provision of incorrect information by the passenger, as well as upon expiration of the period specified when placing the order for the air ticket, the air ticket will be automatically cancelled.
SECOND STEP.
2. After registering in their personal account, the passenger can select a flight route and purchase an air ticket.
2.1 The passenger must select the desired route, the number of passengers, and fill in the required fields for purchasing an air ticket: “First Name, Last Name”, “Date of Birth”, “Passport Information”, payer’s contact information, etc. (This information may be required by the Airline for various communication purposes).
2.2 After the passenger has fully and correctly filled in all required fields, having selected online payment services, they must, on the bank's payment page, fully and correctly enter their personal card payment details, CVC code, first name, last name, etc., in accordance with information security measures. The CVC code can be obtained from the back of the card or by contacting their servicing bank.
2.3 After all required information is fully and correctly entered, the bank payment system confirms the passenger's payment has been successfully processed, and the passenger immediately receives a PNR number and can download the ticket. They can also view and download the entire ticket history electronically through their personal account.
2.4 If the information entered by a passenger when submitting an air ticket is incomplete or incorrect, the Airline will not correct the air ticket data by more than three letters, and the Airline will bear no liability. However, if the passenger changes their passport series or changes their last name due to marriage when issuing an air ticket, they must notify the Airline by email at info@turkmenistanairlines.tm along with all supporting documents.
2.5 If a flight operated by Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company is rerouted or otherwise notified, the passenger must be notified. The Airline will call or send an SMS to the phone number provided when purchasing the ticket. The Airline will not be held liable if the phone number provided is not yours but belongs to someone else, your phone number is disconnected, or you are not notified for other reasons. (The Airline will only notify the phone number and email address provided when purchasing the ticket.)
2.6 If, when purchasing an online air ticket on the website of Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company, another passenger purchased the air ticket for you and you request a refund, only the passenger who has registered and logged in to their personal account can return the ticket, and the refund will be made to the payer's card. (The Airline is not liable for any illegal actions.)
2.7 The Airline is not responsible for disputes between passengers who have purchased an air ticket, or for other reasons.
IN THE EVENT OF ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT CLOSED!
We inform you that Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company may block your phone number and IP address registered in your personal account. To unblock your account, please contact the Airline's headquarters, provide all required documents, and submit your application, which will be reviewed by the Airline.
We would like to inform you that if, after completing the necessary formalities and reviewing your application, it is determined that you have engaged in illegal activity that is detrimental to the Airline, the Airline will take the appropriate measures described above.
1. If it is determined that multiple people have been booked on a flight in violation of the Airline’s rules, your personal access rights to your personal account and IP address will be completely deleted, and you will not be able to receive an air ticket.
2. If it is determined that the Airline’s online ticket sales systems have been subject to cyberattacks, your access to your personal account will be revoked.
3. We warn you that if you are found to be engaged in illegal activity, committing offenses, etc., or if the Airline receives reports from other agencies, you will be held accountable for all your illegal actions.
4. The Airline reserves the right to request necessary documents.
THE TURKMENISTAN AIRLINES OPEN JOINT-STOCK COMPANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1. Differences in monetary amounts arising from currency conversion and bank fees for refunding air ticket purchases to a bank card;
2. The refund amount for an air ticket is determined in accordance with the applicable fare rules. This means that the Airline will not be liable if the passenger fails to comply with the following fare rules when refunding an air ticket:
- if the passenger fails to arrive for the flight on time;
- if the passenger arrives less than 24 hours before departure or if the air ticket is returned more than 3 hours before departure;
- if the passenger's departure time is less than 3 hours;
3. Removal from flights of passengers who arrived at international airports and purchased air tickets due to the lack of documents required by other government agencies.
4. For disputes arising between a passenger (his/her authorized representative or legal representative) and the person who paid for the air ticket, as a result of the passenger (his/her authorized representative or legal representative) refusing to write a statement about the cancellation of the air ticket and the refund of money to the person who paid for the air ticket.
5. The document confirming the invalidity of the bank card used to pay for the air ticket (if the bank card used to pay for the air ticket has expired).
6. The Airline has the right to request additional documents and information necessary to return the air ticket to the passenger.
