From April 14 to 17, 2025, with the participation of a foreign expert from ICAO, an assessment was carried out to evaluate the school’s level in order to obtain the first-stage certificate of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program. As a result of this assessment, the Training School for Aviation Personnel successfully passed the evaluation and was awarded the first-level certificate under the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program.

The first training course under the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program — Training Developer Course — took place from October 13 to 23, 2025. Specialists from the State Service “Türkmenhowaýollary,” the Ashgabat International Airport, the Open Joint-Stock Company “Turkmenistan,” and the Training School for Aviation Personnel participated in the course.
The goal of the Training Developer Course is to enhance the professional skills of the State Service “Türkmenhowaýollary” personnel in accordance with ICAO international standards.

The second course of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program — Training Instructor Course — was held from October 27 to 31, 2025. Specialists from the State Service “Türkmenhowaýollary” took part in this training. The main objective of these courses is for participants to obtain international instructor certificates, granting them the right to train foreign civil aviation professionals as well as aviation specialists of the State Service “Türkmenhowaýollary.”
